Wearable (World First?) Brushless 3 axis Camera Gimbal - Test 1
Просмотров 56810 лет назад
First test of our newly created 3 axis wearable body gimbal, using brushless motors and Alexmos 32 bit controller. Filmed in our bumpy field on an old Honda MTX50, the gimbal still needs lots of tuning but it's a great start!
EBC promo video

The EBC promo/corporate video we made last year for EBC. Featuring the main man himself, Andy Freeman who started EBC over 30 years ago. Filming in the foundry in Poole (Dorset, UK) was mental. It was great to see the whole process of brake manufacturer from fresh blocks of steel ingot to a packaged product.

Yes I know it's an advert, but were quite proud of it. Darryl (who drove and edited the film) has just finished this short destined for EBC's website. Filmed on location in the Yorkshire dales national park (where Top Gear sometimes film) it shows waht fantatstic roads we have on our doorstep and an Audi S3 is perfect to enjoy them in.

Clean your Motorcycle - Part 5 - See how it looks now!
My uncle had a 1993 Ghia 1.8td which he took up to a horrible mileage.
ill informed dribble , these things are fantastic reliable bikes that will take you to and beyond the limits of your ability, surprisingly capable off road .
Excellent video, i would like to add a top tip. You dont need to disturb the springs, leave the top cap alone and just separate the fork bottom from the chrome tube by removing the bottom allen key, thus leaving all the spring section in place. With the bottom key removed you can pump out the old fluid . Saves a lot of time and mess!
One of the better videos ive seen
Oh, thank you for your Gide but how to replace it all?)
BMWs of this era are generally rock solid, I don't feel that it is fair to characterise them based on one bad example.
Just a provocation to get comments - herer they are : 😂😂😂😂😎
Wow, watching this video 16 years later to understand what is a headstock and what is a yoke. (I am an absolute rookie obviously). Thank you for the video, makes a lot of things clear!
Not hard to foresee the splines on the 100s being more robust than the later versions - longevity = proper lube, at correct intervals --- A bit of a ball ache to do - which is probably why some people don't bother / don't want to pay a MASSIVE labour bill to have a franchise dealer's mechanic do it .....
Who else thinks BMW have lost their way with the newer GS? Perhaps the last of the credibly capable - the 1150s For me, the Adventures seem particularly ridiculous - so, so heavy - if you get bogged down, or happen to come off with the bike winding up at an awkward angle - potentially very, very difficult to extricate yourself ... ..... even if you do happen to be a #BeefCake (pack a hand powered winch!) And the electronics? Fair enough, it might matter less for those that only ever intend to use their GS as the 2-wheeled equivalent of a 'Chelsea Tractor', but then that still makes a nonsense of the Marketing
For people asking about the front tire needing to be straight to get this alignment method to work; you're supposed to measure the front tire on both sides using two points of reference per side, so measure the distance where it touches the tire seam fore and aft. Block the handlebars from turning once the measurements match to ensure front tire is pointing straight.
Wanker
This fella doesn`t like this car , its plain ,i bet he drives a BMW.. What a boring bloke. I fully intend getting a CR-V regardless of what this muppet has to say,. These cars are bomb proof, totally reliable, i bet he didn`t tell you that.
Better not getting home directly than beeing crippled on a Honda CBR(?) 😮
Try: GayLand a - Stru ss a
Too much room for human error a better method is to measure the pivoting point to the rear adjusting bolts on each side
Do these bikes cruise particularly well at all on modern motor ways or are they a bit buzzy at say 75mph 🤔 ???
I'm splitting a 2002 R6 set of forks & wanted to do some revision. Thank You..
Your an awesome example of how this should be done. Great detail, very specific, and professional. Also short simple and to the point. Great job. Learned a lot from this one video, out of all other ones I watched. Well done👏👍
You'll save a lot of time, effort and money if don't let your machine get so filthy and unmaintained to begin with. Who ever owned that bike owes it a huge apology.
The petrol engines on this car are more reliable compared to its diesel version of it and the diesel version is turbocharged meaning that there are more parts to go bad and turbo free engines are always better in my opinion. but you probably didn't know back then so i would not blame you. but if youre pulling heavy hangers its a good idea to have an diesel motor. strange that you had a noisy petrol engine because i have the petrol with manual and its soundfree compared to the other diesel rav4 that i have. but i have seen these cr'v without the sound protectors under the hood so may be why?
I might be wrong but I think I bought a fireblade maintenance dvd where u fully serviced it. Surely a bmw shaft drive would be a piece of cake.
Great review
Yeah that last statement was naive, they have an excellent record of reliability know to be a RTW bike.
I saw this around 15 years ago and have been seeing it time and again to ensure I have the right spirit each time I clean. RUclips was only getting started back then and DIY videos were little to none. This video series was GOLD back then and is still to date! Thank you Nick for this amazing video!
Brilliant clip. Will chop the ball off an allen and attack NC30 forks now.
good for you you are learning👍👍🙂
How come this 15 year old video is better than 90% of bullshit on youtube nowadays?
Make more detail video, thanks from India
Definitely the best video I've seen on this subject
2022 watching
still an awesome bike
Still here in 2022.
15 years..
Really clear and helpful. Cheers👍
never quite sure eh....i have never NOT gotten home on mine, best bike of the 5 ive owned, consider myself dam lucky to have one.
Bro in my fzs v3 if I go to 80km/hr then I take a hand from the handle bar then then front wheel slightly wobbling it's normal or any problem
Hi, its due to loose/tight cones of the handle. Check it with service guys. Or Check tyres it is unevenly worn out. I had same issue with Fz.
@@shreeramhegade9008 What do you mean by cones of the handle?
@@Gobbbbb Bearing
and if you turn the damper rod nut but it just spins inside. ya lets not even mention it
Well explained.
Thanks Mate, at least someone on utube knows what there doing.👍
It's a complete nightmare for me when it comes to chain alignment Double bloody stressful
that string method is ridiculous. theres so many variables that would render the result useless. it looks like grandad workshop logic to me that.
2:03 umm that’s bc it’s built on a honda civic frame lol if you want an off-roading car you can mod the vehicle. it would be just fine though with it’s 8 inch clearance off the ground. get some mud tires, change the shocks and struts, and bam. off-roading vehicle
GS stands for land/road not offroad. Gelande= land Strasse=road
lazy steering and having to muscle it around corners? wtf!? a airhead GS with the 21" front wheel is SO FLICKABLE. its hard to look at scenery on the side of the road without the bike drifting. it flips back n forth out of corners so well
I routinely spanked sport bikes in the twisties with mine. They couldn't believe I had just 60 HP.
This guy has no clue that he is driving a K20 engine, one of the best engines ever made if you ask car guys.
The damper rod bolt just keeps spinning... any ideas?
Great, thanks.. what i needed.. // Danmark
Thank you I like the technique Improvements
I also passed my test on this back in 1998 but it was 1985 86 plate was a lovley bike with lovley sound 2 from the v twin
